2016 Gathering of the Orange Tractor Caravan

The Gathering of the Orange tractor caravan is a separate event from the tractor cruise listed below and is being coordinated by Rick Maldeney.

A two day tractor caravan will travel from Lexington, MO to Boonville on Wednesday & Thursday Sept. 7 & 8 with an overnight stop in Marshall, MO on Sept. 7. The route will take riders through scenic countryside and some of Missouri’s best farmland along the same route taken during the caravan to the Lathrop GOTO in 2014 and to the Boonville GOTO in 2006.

Tractors will depart from Bill Hoeppner’s farm south of Lexington on Sept. 7, travel through Higginsville and stop at Corder, Missouri for a lunch break. They will then travel to the Saline County Fairgrounds in Marshall, Missouri for an overnight stop. Total distance for the first day will be approximately 47 miles. On Thursday, Sept. 8 the tractors will travel to historic Arrow Rock, Missouri for a lunch stop. After 48 miles on the second day they will arrive at the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Association (MRVSEA) Brady Farm show grounds at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Missouri Highway 179.
